Just In: A powerful Zamfara Politician Caught behind Supplying Food, Fuel, Other Logistics To Bandits



Reports reaching News 24 have it that the combined security forces in Zamfara State have successfully arrested some of the loyalists of a Zamfara powerful politician behind supplying bandits with their daily needs.                      Those caught supplying food items, fuel, medicine and other logistics to different bandit's camps in the state, revealed that the politician, they we're only asked to convey the supplies to the bandits without telling how the supplies were obtained it why the supply.

Interrogations into the matter revealed that the political behind the unpatriotic and criminal act is an ex banker, Dauda Lawal Dare who vowed to make Zamfara ungovernable.

It was also gathered that upon the  suspects arrest, four vehicles being used for logistics were intercepted and out of the vehicles, three belonged to the ex banker Dauda Lawal fertilizer company situated in the State Capital.

During interrogation, the suspects revealed that they knew nothing about the motives behind the supply of the basic needs to the bandits enclaves.


Many observers across Nigeria have believed that the rising of bandits activities in Zamfara State as nothing but a pure political sabotage to discredit the Government of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle's administration.


In the same development, Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle has consistently promised to sacrifice any available resources that is available to the state to curtail the inherited insecurity challenges in the state, while adding that, his first and last priority is to transform the state to a more enviable level than he met it.
