Kaduna State Government To Shutdown More Telecom Services Across Kaduna

 



More BTS to be shutdown in Kaduna. By this the network quality and reception within the affected areas and nearby locations will be impacted. See below locations affected.


These are the identified Masts:

1. Kakkau in Chikun LGA (all network)

2. Barnawa in Kaduna South LGA (all network)

3. Gonin Gora in Chikun LGA (all network)

4. Ungwan Muazu in Kaduna South LGA (all network)

5. Gwamna Road Badiko in Kaduna South LGA (airtel)

6. Mando in Igabi LGA (airtel)

7. Rido in Chikun LGA (airtel and MTN)

8. Kawo in Kaduna North LGA (Airtel)

9. NDA Old Site in Kaduna North LGA (airtel)

10. Kurmin Mashi in Kaduna South LGA (airtel)

11. Kabala West Junction in Kaduna South LGA (all network)

There will be a reduction in the radius of all 2G/3G network coverage of the identified Masts to a maximum distance of at least two kilometers, and also total shutdown of all BTS along the Kaduna-Abuja, Kaduna-Birnin Gwari, Kaduna-Zaria, Kaduna-Jos highways and also Zaria-Kidandan-Zaria-Funtua Roads.

The West African Examination council (WAEC) and it's Counterpart National Examination council (NECO ) has jointly denied the received of any outstanding debts from the Zamfara State government for the release of it's Students National Examination council (NECO) from 2024 to 2018 and West African Examination council (WAEC) from 2018 to 2022 as  claimed last week by His Excellency governor Dauda Lawal to mark his two years in office. Legal battles surrounding the Zamfara elections: Governor Dauda accuses INEC and the PDP of being responsible for his difficulties. The beleaguered governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal Dare, blamed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Democratic Party (PDP) over the weekend for his political ordeal, despite the fact that the INEC was fully aware that the use of the IReV (INEC Result Viewing Portal), which it had introduced, did not and could not come close to complying with the Electrical Act's legal requirements.
