Zamfara's PDP Guber Aspirant, Set To Drop Ambition.

 




The People Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial aspirant in Zamfara state, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare, is set to drop his ambition to support incumbent Governor Bello Matawalle for the up coming 2023 general elections.



A source close to the former Banker revealed that, the PDP'S gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Daura Lawal Dare, maybe conceding a full playing ground to the APC in the state to emerge victorious in the 2023 gubernatorial election.


Pushing this political move of conciliation and reconciliation is the first civilian governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Sani Ahmad Yariman Bakura also known in Zamfara State as 'the political Headmaster'.


Yariman who is at the centre of it all, is said to have visited Dr, Dauda Dare and convinced him to drop his ambition, based on the added fact that Zamfara State has been and will continue to be APC state.


Already in known political circuits in the state, excitement is building up in the hope that this move will be well midwifed and the Zamfara state political space will pave way for a smooth election in the state come 2023 elections.


Meanwhile, onsultations are currently going on within Mr, Dare's camp at as the time of filling report.

The West African Examination council (WAEC) and it's Counterpart National Examination council (NECO ) has jointly denied the received of any outstanding debts from the Zamfara State government for the release of it's Students National Examination council (NECO) from 2024 to 2018 and West African Examination council (WAEC) from 2018 to 2022 as  claimed last week by His Excellency governor Dauda Lawal to mark his two years in office. Legal battles surrounding the Zamfara elections: Governor Dauda accuses INEC and the PDP of being responsible for his difficulties. The beleaguered governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal Dare, blamed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Democratic Party (PDP) over the weekend for his political ordeal, despite the fact that the INEC was fully aware that the use of the IReV (INEC Result Viewing Portal), which it had introduced, did not and could not come close to complying with the Electrical Act's legal requirements.
