Gov. Matawalle's hometown delivers 90 percent votes to Tinubu-Residents.

 






As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) opens its collation centre in readiness to receive presidential election results, residents of  Maradun local government, the hometown of Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, have disclosed that they voted 95 percent for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kassim Shetimma, during the poll.



As gathered, they were led by the governor to ensure that the APC presidential candidate and others vying for elective seats were adequately voted for during the exercise in the state.



It was learnt that Maradun, the governor's hometown recorded a large turnout and votes for the ruling party, making it the leading local government where votes were recorded for the APC, especially the presidential candidates.
