Zamfara State goveverment to sack 12,000 employed by Matawalle's administration, says source.

  The administration of Dauda Lawal Dare had concluded plans to disengage from the state civil service 12,000 civil servants employees in Zamfara State. The sour who pleaded anonymity said, " the affected employees were those recruited by Matawalle Administration to have a food on their table added that, they are mostly Junior officers from level 3 to 6. "Its unhealthy by the governor to take this action at this time considering the economic crisis the common low income earners in the country are facing." the source lamented. " The state governor during his campaign promised to provide employment and now he is working forward to make 12,000 civil servants jobless just because of politics, "the source cries out.

  Information reaching news men had it that some officers at the INEC national headquarters Abuja had invited some ad-hoc staff that participated in the conduct of the 2023 governorship poll in Zamfara were invited to Abuja for them to sign some suspicious documents related to the conduct of the Governorship election. The invitation according to a source, is connected to the plan by some staff members of the Commission to alter with the results of some local governments ahead of the commencement of the Governorship election petition proceedings. The alleged action is being masterminded by one of the relations of the Zamfara PDP gubernatorial candidate Dauda Lawal who is also a staff of the legal department of the INEC in Abuja as he vows to ensure that he will uses his connection to favour the PDP candidate Dauda Lawal against the popular decision of the people who voted legitimately for Governor Bello Matawalle. The supposed incoming Peoples Democratic Party in Zamfara is now confused and jittery over Saturday April 15, rerun elections slated by INEC for Zamfara Central and two House of Representatives a situation that was caused by the PDP which used the army to intimidate APC supporters and stakeholders at the last election. Funny enough, since members of the PDP were exposed for having used some corrupt army officers without the knowledge of the army high command, now that they cannot use the same method, they have resolved to blackmailing the police for trying to do the right thing of ensuring a peaceful process.   As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) opens its collation centre in readiness to receive presidential election results, residents of  Maradun local government, the hometown of Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, have disclosed that they voted 95 percent for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kassim Shetimma, during the poll. As gathered, they were led by the governor to ensure that the APC presidential candidate and others vying for elective seats were adequately voted for during the exercise in the state. It was learnt that Maradun, the governor's hometown recorded a large turnout and votes for the ruling party, making it the leading local government where votes were recorded for the APC, especially the presidential candidates.   Some strange faces believed to be PDP loyalist of the Zamfara State PDP governotorial candidate Dr Dauda Lawal Dare has on Monday kidnapped Hajiya Basira at Filin Jirgi Gusau area of the State. The victim daughter Hajiya Balki confirmed that, her Mother Hajiya Basira was holding a meeting with some women advising them to not compromise with their right during the upcoming Saturday presidential election when about 30 men who dressed in suits whisked her away to unknown destination. As at the time of filling this report, Hajiya Basira family members are accusing the opposition people Democratic party in the State for working towards to eliminate their Mother for some political reasons.
